Discovery Suites is one of the 33 hotels who were able to extend a home during the recent self-isolation, having been duly inspected and accredited by the Department of Tourism, Bureau of Quarantine and the Department of Health. It was running on high occupancy, continuously extending Service That’s All Heart—a service that is not bounded by convenience, but of the utmost care and concern to its guests, employees, and fellow front liners. The highest level of protocols and standards have been implemented to ensure the safety and protection of its patrons, with round-the-clock assistance at all times. Not forgetting its social responsibility, the hotel launched its campaign Food for the Heroes which aims to provide meals for front liners. The initiative started as the hotel sent over packed meals thrice a week to hospitals and uniformed personnel. Later on, it was opened to guests who wish to donate as well.

Aside from the preventive measures it has practiced since early this year, the new process includes thorough sanitation of the guest rooms and public area with the use of multiple disinfecting agents. The frequency of sanitation of high touch points such as elevator buttons, doorknobs, and surfaces will also be strictly implemented. Contact-less check-in and check-out, food delivery in the room for hotel dining, customer service over the phone, and social distancing will be done to lessen the face-to-face interaction.
