Ahead of Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria’s 15th anniversary and Holiday Inn Manila Galleria’s 25th anniversary, the management is delighted to announce the appointment of new general manager, Mr. Barun Jolly whowill be at the helm of both the hotels
Having more than two decades of international hospitality experience under his belt, Barun will be steering the wheel as the hotel gets ready for a new phase in the years to come – with a major renovation of both properties starting next in January 2020. Barun has worked with leading brands like Grand Hyatt, The Oberoi, Hyatt Regency, Radisson Blu and The Imperial New Delhi . Meanwhile, his journey as a general manager started when he joined Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla where he bagged several awards such as 2012 Best Professional in the Hospitality Industry by Safari India and 2014 General Manager of the Year for Upscale Business hotels given by Hospitality India to name a few. Under his tutelage, the hotel received accolades such as Best New Business Hotel, Best Upscale Hotel in India, Best New Concept Restaurant, and being a part of the Top 500 Places to Dine in Asia. Prior to joining Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, he was the general manager of Crowne Plaza West Hanoi- Hotel and Residences where he spearheaded its success in winning the Best Luxury Residence in Vietnam and Best Business Hotel, both from the prestigious World Luxury Awards.
